LCLM's science writers and editors are skilled at analyzing and preparing research and program reports for use by the scientific community and the general public. LCLM provides biomedical research support to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Its science writers and publication experts have documented the findings and recommendations that have been the basis for major NIH training programs, as well as for further research on improving the health of all populations. In addition, LCLM staff have provided support to NIH's Institutes and Centers with logistics, developing agendas, strategic and data collection plans, designing survey forms, conducting literature searches, coordinating mailings, and tabulating returned data for statistical analysis.
